Medi-Cal is California’s version of the Federal Medicaid Program. It is a public health insurance program which provides needed health care services for Individuals, Families, Seniors, People with disabilities, Foster Care and Adoption Assistance children, Pregnant Women and low income people with specific diseases. Medi-Cal also has programs for the undocumented population and confidential Minor Consent programs. There are secondary programs that could cover your Medicare premium if you qualify. Medi-Cal is financed equally by the state and federal government.

  • The best and most accurate way to see if you qualify for benefits is to apply and let us make the evaluation.
  • You can apply on line at c4yourself.com, call our hot line at (209) 754-6644 or visit the Main Office in San Andreas or any one of the five outstations.
  • Some Medi-Cal programs are based on income and some are based on property. There are many programs under the Medi-Cal umbrella.
  • We can also assist with Covered California.

Ages 50 or over may qualify for more Medi-Cal benefits

Did you know that if you are a California resident who is 50 years of age or older you may qualify for full scope Medi-Cal beginning May 1, 2022 regardless of your immigration status? Contact your local county office to apply and find out more.

Keep your assets and stay eligible for Medi-Cal

Beginning July 1, 2022, changes to the property limits may mean that you will be able to have more assets and still be on Medi-Cal. Contact your local county office for more information.
